A doctor’s hands. Every time.
Every treatment. Every time. A doctor's hands.
Doctor-led isn't enough. We're doctor-only.
At The Village Skin Studio, every treatment is performed by a doctor — not a therapist, not a delegated practitioner.
We know that in Australia, many cosmetic clinics are legally permitted to have nurses carry out procedures under a doctor's supervision, and we understand why that works for some people.
But we built The Village Skin Studio around a different belief: that when it comes to your skin, you deserve to have a qualified medical doctor in the room, at your side, performing your treatment, every single time. No exceptions.
This isn't a criticism of other clinics — it's simply our standard, and it's a promise we make to every patient who walks through our door

Dr Kate trained at King's College London, where she completed both medical school and her GP training, and undertook her aesthetic medicine training on Harley Street in London.
She practises cosmetic injectables at The Village Skin Studio alongside her General Practice work at The Village Medical Practice Harrisdale. Her wider clinical background includes Emergency Medicine and urgent care, and her general practice interests in women's health, sexual health and chronic disease management inform the way she approaches aesthetic consultations — assessing the whole patient, not just the area being treated.
Dr Kate's consultations are unhurried and conversational: an assessment of facial anatomy, a discussion of the options and their risks, and a plan agreed with the patient before anything is booked. She is equally comfortable advising that a treatment is not appropriate.
Alongside her clinical work she has a strong interest in medical technology and medical education, with a focus on innovation in healthcare and supporting the development of future clinicians. Outside of medicine she is a creative person who loves the outdoors and values balance, wellbeing and staying active.

Dr Ellie came to medicine from dentistry. She qualified in dentistry with honours, trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery and worked in head and neck before completing her medical degree — also with honours — and her general practice training.
That background means the anatomy of the face is familiar territory: the muscles, vessels and bone beneath the skin, and how they differ from one patient to the next. At The Village Skin Studio she practises cosmetic injectables alongside her general practice work at The Village Medical Practice Harrisdale, where her clinical interests include women's health and rheumatology.
She is thorough by habit. Consultations begin with an anatomical assessment and a discussion of the options, the risks and the alternatives, including where no treatment is the right answer.
Dr Ellie is a GP trainer and an adjunct senior clinical lecturer at Curtin University. Outside medicine she is with her husband and two children, is a regular parkrunner, and is currently training for a 50km charity ride for acquired brain injury and an overnight marathon walk for Perth Children's Hospital. She also paints abstracts and is crocheting yet another blanket.
